WBB: UGA meets North Florida today at noon
Opening Tip Storylines
» Georgia returns to Stegeman Coliseum to host the North Florida Ospreys at noon ET Wednesday. Fans can watch the action on SEC Network + or listen to the voice of the Lady Bulldogs, Jeff Dantzler, on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network.
» This is the second all-time meeting between these two programs. Georgia defeated North Florida 75-37 in Athens on Dec. 28, 2017.
» The Lady Bulldogs came in at No. 14 in the first NET rankings that were released this past Monday. Georgia is the third-highest ranked SEC team, coming in behind No. 1 South Carolina and No. 13 Tennessee. The NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) replaced the RPI rankings as the primary way to evaluate teams for the NCAA tournament.
» Wednesday’s game is the final contest before Georgia takes an eight-day exam break. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to No. 2 NC State on Dec. 16.
» Graduate guard Que Morrison — one of the top defensive players in the nation — continues to step it up offensively. She has led Georgia in each of the last two games, totaling 35 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals in matchups against Texas Tech and Georgia Tech.
» Morrison became the 42nd Lady Bulldog in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark with her basket in the third period against Georgia Tech.
» Georgia has held seven of eight opponents below 40 percent shooting from the field. The Lady Bulldogs rank second in the SEC in scoring defense (50.2 ppg) and third in turnovers forced (20.5 per game) this season.
» Texas Tech and Notre Dame are the only teams to score 60 or more points against the Lady Bulldogs this season. If you look back to last year, Georgia has held eight of its last 10 opponents below the 60-point mark.
» For the second-straight season, each of Georgia’s seniors have already earned their college degrees. Malury Bates (sociology), Mikayla Coombs (sport management), Morrison (communication studies), and Jenna Staiti (human development and family science) have all graduated from the University of Georgia.

Scouting the Opponent: North Florida
» North Florida is 5-4 this season and is in the final contest of a five-game road trip. The Ospreys started 4-1 this year — its best start in program history (as a DI program). North Florida was picked second in the Atlantic Sun preseason rankings. Jazz Bond leads North Florida with 19.9 points per game and leads an experienced roster that features just one true freshman.
How the Bulldogs in the NFL fared in Week 13:
Rams 37, Jaguars 7
Leonard Floyd, OLB: Floyd rolled up three tackles, including half a sack, for the Rams.
Sony Michel, RB: Michel rushed 24 times for a season-best 121 yards (the third-best total of his career) and a touchdown and he caught three passes for eight yards for Los Angeles.
Matthew Stafford, QB: Stafford went 26-of-38 for 295 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams. He stands second in the NFL with 30 touchdown passes and third with 3,611 passing yards.
Tyson Campbell, DB: Campbell had four tackles for Jacksonville.
Chiefs 22, Broncos 9
Deandre Baker, DB: Baker had four tackles and defended a pass for the Chiefs. Sunday’s game marked Baker’s first action since Week 6.
Mecole Hardman, WR: Hardman hauled in a 12-yard pass for Kansas City.
Cardinals 33, Bears 22
A.J. Green, WR: Green caught a 14-yard pass for the Cardinals
Alec Ogletree, OLB: Ogletree had one tackle for Chicago.
Roquan Smith, ILB: Smith led the Bears with eight tackles, including one for loss. He stands fifth in the NFL with 121 tackles.
Patriots 14, Bills 10
David Andrews, OL: Andrews played all 51 snaps at center and helped New England roll up 241 total yards.
Isaiah Wynn, OL: Wynn logged all 51 snaps at tackle as the Patriots posted 241 total yards.
Isaiah McKenzie, WR: McKenzie was on Buffalo’s inactive list. He stands seventh in the NFL with 548 yards on kickoff returns.
Dolphins 20, Giants 9
John Jenkins, DL: Jenkins was not active for the Dolphins.
Solomon Kindley, OL: Kindley appeared on five special teams plays for Miami.
Lorenzo Carter, OLB: Carter had three tackles for New York.
Tae Crowder, ILB: Crowder led the Giants with nine tackles and he added a quarterback hurry.
Jake Fromm, QB: Fromm, who joined the Giants from Buffalo last week, was active for the first time in his NFL career, but he did not see any action.
Azeez Ojulari, OLB: Ojulari posted four tackles, including a sack, for New York. He now owns the Giants rookie record outright with 6.5 sacks and ranks third this season among rookies.
J.R. Reed, DB: Reed logged 12 of the Giants’ special teams plays.
Andrew Thomas, OL: Thomas played all 65 snaps at tackle and helped New York accumulate 250 total yards.
Chargers 41, Bengals 25
Tre’ McKitty, TE: McKitty appeared on 16 offensive and five special teams plays for the Chargers.
Trey Hill, OL: Hill played all 76 snaps at center and helped the Bengals roll up 356 total yards. Sunday marked Hill’s first NFL start at center.
Lions 29, Vikings 27
D’Andre Swift, RB: Swift was on the Lions’ inactive list due to a shoulder injury. He stands third among NFL running backs with 56 catches for 429 yards.
Colts 31, Texans 0
Chris Conley, WR: Conley appeared on 30 offensive plays and was targeted four times by the Texans but did not have a catch.
Steelers 20, Ravens 19
Ben Cleveland, OL: Cleveland appeared on three special teams plays for Baltimore.
Justin Houston, LB: Houston had one tackle and defended a pass for the Ravens.
Nick Moore, LS: Moore snapped on four punts, two field goals, and one extra point, and he picked up a special teams tackle for Baltimore.
Seahawks 30, 49ers 23
Charlie Woerner, TE: Woerner logged 22 special teams and seven offensive plays for the 49ers and he picked up one special teams tackle.
