WTEN: Georgia’s Spring Schedule Announced

The Georgia women’s tennis program released its 2025 spring schedule, head coach Drake Bernstein announced on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

Action will begin on Friday, Jan. 17 when the Bulldogs host in-state rivals Georgia Tech at 5 p.m. ET at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Georgia will then remain at home to wrap up January action where it will host Princeton, Harvard and Charlotte at the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 25-26.

Heading into February, the Bulldogs will play host to North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. followed by a potential trip Midwest for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships running from Feb. 7-11 hosted by the Illinois and Northwestern in Champaign and Chicago, Ill. 

Georgia will then open Southeastern Conference play with a three-match home slate against South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. ET, followed by Auburn on Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. ET and Florida on Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. ET. 

 

 

 

 

The Bulldogs will then play a split home-and-away weekend where they will travel to face Kentucky on Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. CT in Lexington, Ky., followed by a home date against Tennessee on Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. ET.

Georgia’s first full-weekend SEC road trip will see it compete against LSU on Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. CT in Baton Rouge, La., followed by Ole Miss on Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. CT in Oxford, Miss. 

The Red and Black will return to Athens the following weekend to host Arkansas on Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. ET followed by Oklahoma on Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. ET.

The Bulldogs’ will then wrap up March on the road against Alabama on Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa, Ala., followed by Mississippi State on Sunday, March 30 at noon CT in Starkville, Miss.

Georgia will open April with its final home weekend of conference action where it will host Vanderbilt on Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. ET followed by Missouri on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. ET.

The Bulldogs’ final SEC stretch will take them to the Lone Star State where they will face Texas on Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. CT in Austin, Texas before closing out conference play against Texas A&M on Sunday, April 13 at noon CT in College Station, Texas. 

Entering postseason competition, the 2025 SEC Tournament will run from April 16-20 hosted by Auburn in Auburn, Ala.

NCAA Regionals will take place on May 2-4, followed by NCAA Super Regionals on May 9-11 and the NCAA Championships on May 15-18 hosted by Baylor in Waco, Texas.
