Opening Tip Storylines
» Following a bye week, the Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team is back home to host the No. 19-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols Thursday night inside Stegeman Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.

» Georgia has won three of its last four games, including a pair against top 20 teams Ole Miss and Kentucky. The Lady Bulldogs are receiving votes in both major polls and are ranked No. 34 in the NET rankings.

» Sophomore guard Dani Carnegie is third in the conference in scoring during SEC play with 20.5 ppg against league foes. This season, she became the first Georgia player since Katrina McClain in 1987 to record back-to-back 30-point games with 32 against Ole Miss and 31 at Arkansas. Carnegie is the first Georgia player since Tasha Humphrey in 2007 to earn consecutive SEC Player of the Week honors.

» Georgia boasts a 10-2 record inside Stegeman Coliseum this year. That number already represents the most home wins for the program since Coach ABE’s first year with the team back in 2022-23.

» Georgia and Tennessee have split the last six meetings, with each team winning three matchups. Those contests have been decided by an average of eight points per game. The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Vols, 72-69, in Knoxville last season after building a 33-10 lead in the second quarter.

» Four Georgia players average in double figures this season, led by Carnegie’s 18.3 ppg. The last time Georgia finished a season with four players in double figures was 2011-12, when Jasmine Hassell, Khaalidah Miller, Anne Marie Armstrong and Jasmine James all averaged over 10 ppg.
