Key Quotes

Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Wes Johnson

On the game/weekend

“Their starter, that’s what you see in our league on a Friday night. He threw the ball really well and executed pitches. We knew he had a ton of sink and run. On a day like today, that’s when you have a chance for a no-hitter. They are a really good ballclub and will be a high seed in a regional again. Our bullpen was outstanding. One guy reached second base after that first inning.”
