MBB: Dawgs Fall to Vols in Knoxville
The No. 23 Georgia Bulldogs (14-3, 2-2 SEC) fell to the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers (16-1, 3-1 SEC), 74-56, on Wednesday night at the Food City Center. Two Bulldogs reached double figures led by freshman forward Asa Newell’s 13 points on the night.

We got a little bit stagnant offensively which allowed [Jahmai] Mashack and [Zakai] Ziegler to really crawl into our guards and be useful. Whether it was first half or early second half, did a poor job blocking them out, didn’t match their intensity on the glass, 18 offensive rebounds — those two stats there, the 18 and the 19 [turnovers], I think really tell you what happened out there.
