BSB: Dawgs Open Florida Series with 8-7 Win

GAINESVILLE, FLA. – Rylan Zaborowski, the NCAA home run leader, belted his 13th of the year, a two-run shot in the top of the ninth, to lead fourth-ranked Georgia to an 8-7 win over No. 13 Florida Friday at Condron Ballpark.

• In the second inning, senior Devin Obee erased a 3-0 deficit with a three-run double. It was part of a four-run outburst by the Bulldogs. Georgia trailed 7-6 going to the ninth after UF scored a pair in the eighth.
• Georgia chased UF starter Aiden King in the fifth after allowing five runs on six hits. He came in with a 0.81 ERA (2 ER in 22.1 IP) and a 3-1 mark on the year.

SB: LSU Takes Series Opener with Seventh Inning Rally
ATHENS, Ga. – A two-run top of the seventh inning lifted No. 3 LSU past No. 13 Georgia in the series opener on Friday evening in front of 2,323 fans at Jack Turner Stadium, 5-3.
Georgia put the tying run on in the bottom of the inning, but the rally fell short in the end. Georgia falls to 22-7 on the season and 2-5 in SEC play.
