BSB: Georgia and Alabama to Complete Series Today

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Due to heavy precipitation in the area, Georgia’s completion of its SEC baseball series with No. 23 Alabama has been postponed until Sunday. The teams were unable to play on Saturday due to rain.
At 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 11, the series will resume with Friday’s suspended game which is in the top of the fifth and UA holding a 6-2 edge. Georgia posted a 19-3 run-rule win in seven innings in the series opener. The teams were attempting to play a doubleheader Friday with heavy rains in the forecast for the weekend.
Game three of the series will take place 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended contest Sunday and will be a seven-inning game. Fans with tickets for Saturday’s original contest as well as Sunday’s game will be good for both contests on Sunday, with Sunday’s game having seat priority.
The Bulldogs are 40-11 overall, 16-9 in the SEC. Alabama is 37-13 overall and 13-12 in the SEC.
Fans can tune in to watch the Bulldogs on SEC Network+ and listen on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network.
