WTEN: Anastasiia Lopata Advances to ITF Hilton Head W35 Singles Final

Anastasiia Lopata secured her spot in the ITF Hilton Head W35 singles final after her semifinal victory at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center on Saturday.

• Coming off four victories heading into Saturday, Anastasiia Lopata played in her second consecutive ITF semifinal, facing off against WTA #811 Kylie McKenzie. Lopata overcame a competitive start to the first set to earn the lead at 6-4 in the opening frame. The Kiev, Ukraine native dropped the second set 0-6, but bounced back in dominant fashion in the third as she never looked back, securing the three-set victory 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 to advance to the singles final.
