In the video interview below, Daquan Hawkins-Muckle explains his recent name change and discusses his role in Coach Rocker’s unit.
 
 
When a reporter noted that DaQuan is in line for more playing time this year, Hawkins-Muckle replied:

    I know no.78 Trenton Thompson was the bell cow of the 2015 recruiting class for the Dawgs, and he certainly is fun to watch play; has a lot of potential with his talent and ability, but DaQuon Hawkins has been just as good IMO. Looking for both him and TT to have big years along with big ‘ole no.97 John Atkins.
