There is not a lot of good from Saturday’s game, outcome, or from the training room. The roster is riddled with injuries. There are personnel question marks at not just the QB. The road to Atlanta and rematch with the presumptive West Champion seems to be lost.
Dawgs were blown out in the first half by the Gator’s elite offense that was ready for it’s first challenger from a team that boasted a quality defense. They hit all of their season averages in first half. Yards per play, explosiveness, and success rate.
Can’t write a post about Saturday’s game without talking about the offense. For those Mad Men out there… “not good Bob”
I don’t try to report. Don’t want to have to sift through the coach speak nor do I really want be an X and O guy. I like the numbers and enjoy sharing them as a Dawg fan. But, I don’t see how anyone that follows the program can not see that the QB play is a deficiency. But, if Coach Smart chooses to tab Mathis as the starter. This series is what we can hope so see more of.
