A lot has happened in the world of Georgia Football recruiting since episode 8 of the RBU Podcast. Georgia picked up a commitment in 4-Star 2022 wideout Denylon Morrissette first and foremost. My Co-Host Jeremy Johnson and I discuss just what Morrissette brings to the Dawgs and also talk about a former teammate of Morrissette’s in the class of 2022 that just recently got an exciting offer from Georgia. In addition to UGA’s most recent commitment in the class of 2022, we discuss how adding Morrissette to the fold increased the lead over LSU in the 2022 team recruiting class rankings. Despite the early success for the Dawgs, there is still a long way to go for the class, and Jeremy and I identify the position in the class that is ultimately going to make the difference as to which program ends up with the #1 spot when all is said and done.

Also, the NFL Draft occurred this past weekend, and the University of Georgia set a record for players drafted with 9. In this episode, the RBU Podcast examines the implications of Georgia’s record-setting performance from now on, how 2022 could potentially top the 2018 class because of the draft, and how Georgia can use the Alabama draft onslaught as a blueprint to surpass the Crimson Tide at their own game.
