Former five-star Demetris  Robertson has made his transfer decision. The wideout chose Georgia over Texas, Alabama and West Virginia. He announced via a commitment video from Chimin’ In Media.
On July 5, Robertson announced on his Twitter that the company would be putting together an exclusive video for the announcement. From the time he announced his decision to transfer, it was well documented that Georgia was a major player to land him. He was a major target during the 2016 recruiting cycle for Kirby Smart and Georgia. Many fans remember that he didn’t in fact sign until 3 months after national signing day where he chose Cal.
However, now fans can welcome him with open arms as he chose the Bulldogs finally. Fans started getting excited when he hosted a party with Terry Godwin and Mecole Hardman last weekend. This put him on campus and giving the  fans even more to question.
Robertson is a 6-0 190 wideout that regularly runs a 4.35 40-yard dash. During his first two seasons at Cal, the wideout started 13 games. He made 57 catches for 837 yards and 7 touchdowns. However, last October he suffered a lower-body injury ending his season. Robertson had surgery to fix the injury and should have no problems with it once he gets to school.
He’s a great addition to an already lethal wide receiving group. Robertson’s considered to be apart of the 2018 class and it’ll be announce in the coming weeks whether or not he’ll have to sit out a year or can play right away.
Below, check out the full commitment video.
