Senior Addyson Cord has been named SEC Rider of the Month for her performance in Equitation on the Flat in the month of September. This is the first SEC Rider of the Month accolade for Cord.

 
The Loomis, California native opened the season with a 70-68 victory over her Fresno State opponent. She earned the Bulldogs’ first point of the season and the lone point in Equitation on the Flat for the day after riding in the second rotation. The point marked her 15th career win in the event as a Bulldog.
 
 
Cord and the No. 2 Georgia equestrian team return to action next week as they welcome the top-ranked Aggies of Texas A&M to the UGA Equestrian Complex. Competition is scheduled for Friday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m.
