Leylan Gleeson, Liza Finsness, Paige Stawicki, Rachel Kolb and Kylee Arbuckle were each named to the Beval Saddlery Academic First Team, while Megan Southam, Lauren Garmon and Claudia Spreng picked up Second Team Honors.
Charley Thiel, Heather Schmidt, Lauren Tieche, Meg O’Mara and Sara Parr were named Beval Saddlery Academic Team Honorable Mentions.
Allie Harbert, Caroline Blackshear, Emily DuPont, Emma Schauder, Heather Ham, Jane Sutcliff, Kendall Fately, Laura Malone, Madison Beasley, Madi Berger, Mikailla Waltos, Morgan Beavers, Sarah Novak, Sydney Beasley, Sydney Crenshaw, Taylor Davis, Morgan Justiss, Sara Hunt and Olivia Gaude were all named to the La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for the Academic first team, a rider must have competed in 70 percent of her team’s meets and must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5. To qualify for the Academic second team, a rider must have competed in 60 percent of her team’s meets, while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25. To earn honorable mention Academic honors, a rider must have participated in 50 percent of her team’s meets and must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
The La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll recognizes the top academic student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25.
