For the second-straight month, Sara Parr has been named the NCEA Rider of the Month in Horsemanship, it was announced today. It is the second NCEA Rider of the Month honor in her career.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Parr finished the month of March with an unblemished 4-0 record in Horsemanship, earning MOP honors on three occasions.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Parr wrapped up the month by being named to the Southeastern Conference All-Championship team after earning MOP honors in the SEC Championship round against Texas A&M.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Her first win in March was against Fresno State on the road with an event high score of 75.5. She continued the momentum into the next day, as she picked up the win against No. 4 TCU with an event high score of 75. Each of her regular-season wins came on the road.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Parr earned the most MOP honors during the regular-season in the SEC with five. Her two wins also gave her the second most individual regular-season victories of any SEC rider with nine. She also has the second-most MOP honors in SEC competition and holds the highest Horsemanship scores in both SEC meets and overall.
