GEORGIA
Two-sport Georgia standout Jimmy Harrell had the big play of the Bulldogs 37-7 win over Kentucky in 1984, breaking loose for an electric 76-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Georgia’s national champions of 1980 and Southeastern Conference title winners of 1981 both registered shutouts of the Wildcats – 27-0 and 21-0, respectively.
In Georgia’s 27-0 victory over the Wildcats in Lexington in 1980, Buck Belue hit Amp Arnold for a 90-yard touchdown – the second longest pass completion of that magical year.
College Football Hall of Famer Jake Scott tied an NCAA record with two interception returns for touchdowns against the Wildcats in a 35-14 Georgia win in Lexington in 1968.
In 2002, Georgia trailed Kentucky 24-14 in the first half in Lexington, then dominated the remainder of the game, rolling past the Wildcats 52-24.

KENTUCKY
Kentucky’s storied men’s basketball program won national championships in 1948, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996, 1998 and 2012 – their eight titles second only to UCLA’s 11.
Five Kentucky hoops coaches have led Big Blue to national hoops titles – Adolph Rupp (with four), Joe B. Hall, Rick Pitino, Tubby Smith and John Calipari.
One of the greatest Wildcats football teams ever posted a signature win over the Bulldogs in Athens with Prince Charles in town, beating Georgia 33-0 in 1977 between the hedges.
