This past Spring in Atlanta, the Bulldogs hosted Missouri in the FIRST EVER “OFFICIAL” BASEBALL GAME at the Braves new home SUNTRUST PARK.
Georgia’s 41-20 VICTORY over Missouri in Columbia in 2012 was the Tigers first ever intraconference game as a member of the SEC.
When Georgia beat Mizzou 9-6 in 2015, it marked the Bulldogs FIRST WIN WITHOUT SCORING A TD since beating Kentucky 12-3 in 1995.
The Bulldogs 14-0 Orange Bowl victory over Missouri on 1/1/60 was Georgia’s second of three all-time POST-SEASON SHUTOUTS.
Then-freshman NICK CHUBB had one of his first signature performances in the Bulldogs 34-0 win at Mizzou in 2014, running for 143 YARDS and a TD on 38 carries.
Led by Terry Hoage’s 12 and Jeff Sanchez’s nine, the Bulldogs great 1982 powerhouse set a SEC record with 35 INTERCEPTIONS en route the conference crown.

In Missouri’s SECOND and THIRD seasons in the Southeastern Conference, the Tigers made it to the 2013 and 2014 league title games.
Mizzou has the somewhat dubious distinction of having the THIRD MOST NCAA Basketball Tournament appearances (25) without making a Final Four.
Arguably the greatest football player in Mizzou history is legendary San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame tight end KELLEN WINSLOW.
Missouri has had some great pitchers through the years, including Washington Nationals ace MAX SCHERZER, who has won two CY YOUNG AWARDS.
Olympic Bronze Medalist J’DEN COX, a native of Columbia, won the NCAA Wrestling Championship at 197 pounds for a THIRD STRAIGHT SEASON.
Two of Mizzou’s best teams, 2007 and 2013, capped their seasons with COTTON BOWL VICTORIES: 38-7 over Arkansas and 41-31 per Oklahoma State.
