Marietta High School’s Azeez Ojulari was having a spectacular senior year as he and his fellow Blue Devils capped off a 6-4 regular season in Region 3 Class 7A to win an at-large bid in the GHSA State Football Playoffs. Unfortunately, the talented defensive end/outside linebackers season ended with a knee injury and a loss to North Gwinnett in the third-round back on Nov. 24th. Ojulari recently had surgery to repair his torn ACL in his right knee and a number of fellow 2018 prospects dropped by while he was recovering from the procedure to show support.

Fields himself had his senior high school football season cut short with an injury, suffering a broken finger in Harrison High School’s 28-26 win over Dalton back on Oct. 19th. He had successful surgery to fixate and repair the bone in his finger on Monday, Oct. 21st just a couple of days later.
A knee injury was about the only thing to slow Ojulari down this season as he was a terror for opponents to keep out of the backfield. For the year, Ojulari finished with 118 total tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 11 QB sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 5 passes defended. He was named Marietta’s Defensive Player of the Year. That is coming on the heels of a junior season that saw him rack up 103 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.
The 6 foot 4 and 224 lbs Azeez Ojulari, who has over 50 scholarship offers, committed to the University of Georgia back on August 17th over programs like Auburn, Clemson, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He plans to sign his National Letter of Intent (LOI) during the early signing period of Dec. 20-22 and will join the 2018 incoming freshmen at UGA this upcoming summer after graduating from Marietta High School.
