Former Georgia Bulldog Kolton Houston sat down with The Brunswick New’s Lauren McDonald to talk his Georgia-Florida experiences as both a player and a fan.

 
Houston came to the University of Georgia from Buford High School in the Bulldogs 2010 recruiting class and was a member of the UGA football team from 2010-2015, where he played for former head coach Mark Richt. He did not see the field until his third year at UGA in 2013, however, due to testing positive for a banned substance, a steroid his doctor injected him with after having shoulder surgery.
 
 
Houston played in three Georgia-Florida games with the Bulldogs, going 1-2 against the Gators. His only win over those three games, a 23-20 victory in 2013, but overall during Houston’s time at UGA, the Dogs went 3-3. So, what does Houston think about this 2017 Georgia-Florida game? Here is what he told The Brunswick New’s Lauren McDonald:
 
 
“ ‘I would love to put a good whoopin’ on them, like (Tim) Tebow did to us that year … I would love to see a 30-point, blow-out win,” he said. “But I do think these games will always be close for the first two to three quarters, and then usually the more dominant team will start to pull away into the fourth quarter.’ ”
