Former Georgia Bulldog linebacker Lorenzo Carter and current New York Giants defensive end came off the edge in the second quarter of the Patriots’ game Thursday night and sacked New England Tom Brady, causing the veteran quarterback to fumble the ball.
Carter’s teammate, Markus Golden, who also played college football in the SEC… at Missouri, recovered the fumble and ran it back for a 42-yard Giants’ touchdown, which tied the score 14-all.
