The Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation released their Super 16 Poll results after week 1 of the 2015 college football season. Ohio State remained at the top as expected after the Buckeye’s victory over Virginia Tech on Monday night. Arizona State dropped out of the Super 16 after their loss to Texas A&M on Saturday, and the Aggies moved up into the 16th spot.
[su_spacer size=”20″] Out of all 16 teams that started off ranked in the pre-season Super 16 Poll rankings, all won except for the Sundevils.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Florida State dropped out of the top 10 in the poll whereas Notre Dame moved up to number 8 after their victory over Texas on Saturday.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The conference with the most teams in the Super 16 is the SEC with a total of six teams. The conference with the next most is the PAC-12. Rounding out the Super 16 is the Big 10, Big 12 and the ACC each with two teams a piece with Notre Dame being the lone independent team.
