The sixth-ranked Georgia women’s tennis team (18-5, 11-2 SEC) will head to Columbia, S.C. this weekend looking to defend the SEC Tournament title that it won a season ago.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The Bulldogs enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed and will not begin play until the quarterfinal stage of the tournament, where they will face the winner of the South Carolina-Mississippi State match that is set to take place on Thursday at 2 p.m.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia will take on the winner of that match on Friday at 2 p.m., with a potential semifinal showdown against No. 3 seed Texas A&M looming should the Bulldogs advance.
