The Georgia equestrian team now sits at the No. 5 spot in the latest poll from the National Collegiate Equestrian Association.
Georgia has a 7-4 record on the season, with a 3-2 mark in the Southeastern Conference.
Texas A&M is the nation’s new top-ranked team. Baylor dropped to No. 2 after a loss to then-No. 8 Fresno State. Oklahoma State and Auburn held steady at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. Georgia moved up one spot to No. 5 and Fresno State jumped to sixth, knocking SMU down to No. 7 and South Carolina to No. 8. Rounding out the top-10 is New Mexico State at No. 9 and TCU at No. 10.
Georgia hosts Texas A&M for its home finale on Saturday, February 25th at 10 a.m. The Bulldogs will conclude regular season competition on Friday, March 3 at Fresno State. The SEC Championships will be held in Auburn, Alabama on March 24-25. The season will officially conclude at the NCEA National Championship to be held April 12-15 in Waco, Texas.
