Wendel Davis has joined the UGA football program as a defensive graduate assistant, according to an announcement on his Twitter account.
Prior to joining the Dawgs, Davis was a defensive analyst for one year at Texas after a stint with Texas A&M – Commerce.

Davis had spent the last two seasons at Texas A&M-Commerce. Prior to that, he had spent a pair of seasons helping oversee the linebackers at West Texas A&M.
A Sweeny, Texas, native, Davis was a linebacker at Arkansas from 2006-09. At Texas A&M-Commerce, he was responsible for recruiting in Houston.
