SHARE A TAILGATE RECIPE:
Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
Generous 2 cups flour
1tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1
12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets lightly with butter. Combine flour, soda, salt, and set aside. In a bowl of a standing mixer, or in large bowl with hand mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla and mix to combine. Slowly add dry mixture, and beat on low to combine. Stir in chocolate chips. Scoop out dough with a spoon and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, just until edges start to turn golden.
