COLQUITT COUNTY vs. NORTH GWINNETT
The (11-3) Colquitt County Packers will face the (13-1) North Gwinnett Bulldogs in the Class 7A championship game at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 9th. The Packers are the the No. 3 seed from Region 1-AAAAAAA and ranked No. 8. The Bulldogs are the No. 1 seed from 6-AAAAAAA and ranked No. 5. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: The Bulldogs by 4.

COFFEE vs. LEE COUNTY
The (10-3) Coffee Trojans will face the (13-1) Lee County Trojans at 8:00 p.m. ET on Friday night, Dec. 8th do decide the Class 6A state football champion. Coffee is the No. 2 seed from Region 1-AAAAAA and ranked No. 4, and Lee County is the No. 1 seed from 1-AAAAAA and ranked No. 3. Both schools are playing in their first state football title game. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: Lee County by 1.

ROME vs. WARNER ROBINS
The Class 5A state championship will feature a North versus South Georgia battle between two undefeated teams in the (14-0) Rome Wolves and the (14-0) Warner Robins Demons. No. 1 seed from Region 7-AAAAA Rome is ranked No. 1. Warner Robins is the No. 1 seed from 1-AAAAA and ranked No. 4. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: The Wolves by 17.

MARIST vs. BLESSED TRINITY
The GHSA quad-A title game will feature the (14-0) Marist War Eagles versus (12-2) Blessed Trinity Titans in the third game on Saturday at around 4:30 p.m. ET. Marist is the No. 1 seed from Region 7-AAAA and ranked No. 2. Blessed Trinity is the No. 2 seed from 7-AAAA and ranked No. 5. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: Marist by 4.

CALHOUN vs. PEACH COUNTY
The (13-1) Calhoun Yellow Jackets take on the (13-1) Peach County Trojans in the second game on Friday at 1:00 p.m. ET in the Class 3A championship. Peach County is the No. 1 seed from Region 4-AAA and ranked No. 2. Calhoun is the No. 1 seed from 6-AAA and ranked No. 4. Who’s got the edge? Peach County is heavily favored according to teh Maxwell Ratings’ projection by 9; however, the Trojans will be without wide receiver and return specialists Kearis Jackson who is injured.

RABUN COUNTY vs. HAPEVILLE CHARTER
In Class double-A, the (14-0) Rabun County Wildcats travel down from the Northeast Georgia mountains to the ATL and face the (13-1) Hapeville Charter Hornets in the second of Saturday’s four title games at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Wildcats are the No. 1 seed from Region 8-AA and ranked No. 5, while Hapeville Charter is No. 1 seed from 6-AA and ranked No. 2. This will be Rabun County’s first state football championship appearance in the school’s 69 seasons. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: Wildcats by 3.
CLASS 1A PRIVATE
ATHENS ACADEMY vs. EAGLE’S LANDING CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
The Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy Chargers throttled previously undefeated Prince Avenue Christian 55-0 in one the more lopsided semifinal games in recent memory. Now, (13-0) ELCA will face another Athens-Clarke County program in the (13-0) Athens Academy Spartans. These two Class 1A private powers will get this weekend’s slate of championship games started off at 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday. It’s the No. 1 seed and No.1 ranked team vs. the No. 2 seed and the No. 2 seed in Class 1A. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: ELCA by 16.
CLASS 1A PUBLIC
CLINCH COUNTY vs. IRWIN COUNTY
The other Class single-A title game involves the public schools. The (11-2) Clinch County Panthers will look to keep the (12-1) Irwin County Indians from their first state football championship since 1975. Clinch and Irwin County will kick off day two’s slate of games on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET. Who’s got the edge? Maxwell Ratings’ projection: Indians by 2.
