Davis is a 6 foot 6, and 315 lbs, four-star prospect out of Mallard Creek High School. He is ranked the No. 27 defensive tackle by 247Sports’ composite ranking system. ESPN and Rivals also rated Davis as a four-star prospect. Compared to 247Sports, ESPN has him ranked as the No. 30 DT while Rivals has Davis at No. 16 overall. The talented lineman has over eight scholarship offers, and he chose to commit to UGA over the University of Miami, NC State, and the University of North Carolina.
Georgia is now back up to 18 commitments for 2018 with Davis’ announcement. Miller Grove High School 2018 DE Caleb Tannor de-committed from the Bulldogs earlier this week on Monday. Davis gives UGA three DTs for this recruiting class including JUCO prospect DeVonte Wyatt out of Hutchinson Community College and Liberty County’s Tramel Walthour.
