The Georgia Baseball team continued their three-game series against Dayton with a double header on Saturday. Georgia won the first game of the day 10-7 and the second 13-1.

Emerson Hancock gave the pitching performance of his career thus far on Friday pitching almost seven innings of no-hit baseball. Things came a little more shaky on the mount Saturday

Will Proctor had his season debut pitching for five innings, giving away only two earned runs while striking out nine Flyers. He was pulled and replaced by Zac Kristofak after giving up a single to start off the sixth inning.

Kristofak forced one strikeout in the seventh inning but loaded the bases. He was then replaced by Justin Glover who managed to get out of the inning unscathed.

Glover recorded one out in the eighth before handing over the job to freshman Cole Wilcox. He recorded two outs in the eighth and one in the ninth. After allowing for two runs and putting two runners on bases he was replaced with Aaron Schunk.

Dayton scored an unearned run in the top of the second and a solo homerun, Eddie Pursinger in the top of the fourth and Michael Cleary as well as Pursinger scored in the top of the sixth. The rest of their scoring came in the ninth inning.

Tony Locey opened up pitching for the Bulldogs in the second game earning a 1.50 ERA and was followed by Adam Goodman, Jack Gowen, Christian Ryder and Tim Elliot who all had perfect 0.00 ERA.

Georgia had an eight-run streak through the bottom of the fourth inning including two from Cam Shepherd. He scored again in the bottom of the sixth.

The shortstop went 0-for-3 with a walk on Friday but showed the fan base what he could do on Saturday. In game one, he went up to bat five times, reached base every time and went 2-for-2 with three walks. In game two, he was 3-for-4. Overall, he scored six of the eight times he reached base.

Georgia is set to play at Kennesaw State on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
