Scares me some that this is exact type of spot reversed when Georgia has dashed Auburn’s aspirations of a huger year, in the past. They had only one more loss at this time last year and were a legit contender for the CFP. Three now instead of two does not suggest rebuild, but one is the only league win for moribund Tennessee. Plainsmen are not as good as they have been in high times and not nearly as lowly as they were playing a month ago. Ol’ Georgia is past due for a closer game win. Dawgs 30, War-DUMB-Eagle 21
Hamilton Culpepper:
While this is a so-called “trap game,” the Dawgs are as confident as ever with, in my opinion, the best rushing offense in the nation. With 100% D’andre Swift and bruising Elijah Holyfield, every team we face will have trouble containing those two! Auburn is no different from last week. A good SEC defense who defends the run pretty well, but these two guys bust it wide open! Each have 100-yard rushing games and the Dawgs roll to a 38-14 victory!

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is one of the closest contested series ever … with the Red and Black leading 58-56-8. The 2018 match-up should be another knee-knocker with Georgia holding off a late Auburn comeback attempt … Dawgs 31 Auburn 25.
Greg Poole:
Georgia will continue its undefeated stretch run with a 38-17 win over the Tigers in Sanford Stadium. Look for Kirby and Company to use their depth of beef along the offensive line to control the football and wear down the Auburn defense.
Murray Poole:
Great to be back between the hedges after a month away but here comes an Auburn team just itching to put a damper on the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff hopes! And the 6-3 Tigers are coming to Athens with good momentum after consecutive wins over Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Now, can 5th-ranked Georgia bring its A-game once again, following the back-to-back, dominating wins over Florida and Kentucky? I believe so. Knowing full well what’s at stake, the Bulldogs hold their third consecutive opponent to 17 points with a 28-17 dispatching of the Tigers.
Savannah Richardson:
Georgia should handle its business on Saturday and defeat Auburn. The Bulldogs average 38.1 points a game and have held opponents on average to 16.4 points a game. If the defense can get off the field on third down and shut down Auburn’s passing game, the game will be over by the third quarter. No stupid mistakes, dumb penalties, or turnovers for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs cannot get caught up in this “trap game” and do their jobs.
Georgia makes the Tigers quit and defeat them 42-17.
Steve Conyers:
Auburn has a lot of talent on defense and I think it will show keeping this game close in the first half. However, offensively speaking they can’t run the football and Stidham has put up underwhelming numbers all season.
Auburn’s defense can’t carry the load, Georgia rolls in the second half 34-17.
