Georgia leads the all-time series with Kentucky 46-12. The last time the teams met was in the championship game of the SEC Tournament, which Georgia won by a score of 5-2. The Bulldogs swept the Wildcats in the regular-season series last year in Athens. This will be the first regular-season trip to Kentucky since 2012.

Alex Hugo delivered the knockout blow to Georgia State on Wednesday when she hit a two-run home run that sealed the five-inning win for the Bulldogs. It was the first walk-off home run this season for Georgia.
