The bats came alive for No. 10 Georgia (32-8, 6-4) on Friday night, as the Bulldogs took a 12-4 win at No. 14 Missouri (26-8, 5-5).

The Bulldogs totaled 15 hits on the night, led by Maeve McGuire and Cortni Emanuel notching three hits each. Alyssa DiCarlo, Alex Hugo and Katie Browne each tabbed a pair of RBI apiece. The 12 runs scored were the most in a regular-season conference game since a run-rule 12-4 win at Arkansas in March 2015.

Chelsea Wilkinson (17-2) earned the win after throwing the complete game with seven strikeouts. The Tigers put up four hits and five walks against Wilkinson, but all four runs were unearned for the senior.

Missouri sent four pitchers to the circle, as Danielle Baumgartner (11-3) took the loss after throwing 2.1 innings of relief with six hits and five runs—two unearned—coming in against her.

Georgia struck first after a two-out RBI single from Tina Iosefa scored McGuire in the first inning. Missouri knotted it in the second before going up 3-1 after three played, capitalizing on two Bulldog miscues, two walks and just one hit in the pair of frames.

McGuire started a rally in the fourth with a double hitting off the outfield wall. Hugo then stepped up to rip a liner of a home run over left field to put it at 3-all. The Bulldogs regained the lead with a three-run fifth, as a McGuire groundout with bases loaded let Samantha LaZear scored. After Iosefa was intentionally walked, DiCarlo came through with a two-out single, making it 6-3.

A sacrifice fly for Missouri in the sixth made it a 6-4 game before five more Bulldog runs came in the top seventh off of a wild pitch, error, two-RBI double for Browne, and RBI singles by Lacey Sumerlin and Sydni Emanuel.

The series continues on Saturday with the game moved to a 6 p.m. ET start on ESPN2.
