sIn the Bulldogs 28-17 win over Tennessee to open the 1988 season, Rodney Hampton ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns and Tim Worley ran for 144 yards and a pair of scores.
 
 
When Georgia pulled off a 35-31 upset of Tennessee in 1973, the game-winning touchdown was scored by the sensational Andy Johnson, one of the most beloved players in Georgia lore.
 
 
All-SEC Bulldog great Lindsay Scott began his senior season of 1981 by hauling in a pair of touchdown passes from All-SEC signal caller Buck Belue in a 44-0 victory over the Vols.
 
 
In 1983, Georgia became the first school to have both basketball teams reach the Final Four in the same year, as Hugh Durham and Andy Landers led the Bulldogs to Albuquerque and Roanoke.
 
 
When Georgia won the 2001 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship, the Bulldogs defeated Tennessee in an All SEC final to capture the program’s fourth national title.
