The Georgia women’s basketball team host the Lady Wildcats from Lexington, Kentucky tonight at Stegeman Coliseum for a 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff.

 
 
THE OPENING TIP
 
Georgia takes its two-game win streak into a matchup against Kentucky on Thursday night at Stegeman Coliseum. The game is available on SEC Network Plus (WatchESPN).
 
 
Thursday is $1 hotdog night for fans. In addition, the first 300 fans in attendance will receive a rally towel.
 
 
The Lady Bulldogs enter Thursday’s clash after an 81-78 double-overtime victory against No. 25 Tennessee on Sunday. It marked Georgia’s first win against the Lady Vols since 2010 — a string of 10-straight games.
 
 
Caliya Robinson is the reigning ESPNW National Player of the Week as well as the SEC Player of the Week for her performances in each of the past two contests. The Marietta native, who has averaged 24.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in that span, is only the second Lady Bulldog all-time to win National Player of the Week honors, joining Kedra Holland-Corn in 1997.
 
 
Pachis Roberts enters the matchup with Kentucky on an 11-game double-figure score streak. Teammate Mackenzie Engram has scored in double figures in four of the last five games.
 
 
Georgia leads the all-time series against Kentucky, 36-17, including a 17-5 mark in Athens. The Wildcats have won three-straight, with the Lady Bulldogs’ last win coming in 2014 — a 58-56 victory in Athens.

Matthew Mitchell’s Kentucky Wildcats enter Thursday’s game with a 16-8 record and 7-4 mark in SEC play. The Wildcats have lost two of their last three games, dropping out of the top-25 this past week. A 2016 NCAA Sweet 16 team which finished with a 25-8 record, Kentucky was picked to finish fifth in this year’s league standings.. This year, Kentucky is led by four players scoring in double figures, including Makayla Epps’ 17.2 points per game. Evelyn Akhator, who scored 24 points and had 16 rebounds in the last meeting with UGA, is second on the team with 15.0 ppg.
