The Georgia women’s basketball team are back home in the Classic City to host the 25th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers at Stegeman Coliseum at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Sunday’s matchup is Georgia’s ‘Fan Appreciation Day,’ with giveaways to include a 32” TV, a GoPro camera, an Apple TV, FitBit, 50 pounds of chocolate and more. There will also be a ‘Crawl for Cash’ featuring children 12 months and younger at halftime.
 
 
The Lady Dogs and Lady Vols are the two winningest programs in Southeastern Conference history. In 71 years, Tennessee boasts a league-best 1,314-307 (81.1%) record, while Georgia is 931-405 (69.7%) in 43 years. The Lady Vols have won 18 SEC regular season crowns, while the Lady Bulldogs are second with seven total.
 
 
Tennessee owns a 49-15 all-time series advantage and has won 10-straight games against Georgia. The Lady Bulldogs’ last win in the series came in 2010 — a 53-50 victory against then No. 3-ranked Tennessee.
 
 
Redshirt senior guard/forward Pachis Roberts leads Georgia in both scoring (14.0) and rebounding (7.4) this season. Roberts averaged just 5.0 ppg in her first three seasons. She has upped that by nearly 10 points with all four of her career double-doubles coming this season.

SCOUTING TENNESSEE
 
The Lady Vols are in the midst of a four-game win streak and currently stand at 6-3 overall in the SEC with losses to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Auburn. UT is coming off a 76-74 win against No. 4 South Carolina, which was followed by a 77-58 victory against LSU this past Thursday. Tennessee’s roster features three players scoring in double figures, led by Diamond DeShields’ 17.6 points per game. Teammate Mercedes Russell averages nearly a double-double with her 16.5 points and 9.1 boards per contest.
