Acronyms are all the rage in college football these days, and UGA has added a new one to the landscape. After the offense was on death watch for several weeks, the staff decided to flip the script from the HUNH (hurry up, no huddle) and adopt HUGS (huddle up, go slow). No
[su_spacer size=”40″] Quarterback Greyson Lambert talked about the change in the brief video clip below. Check out his remark at the 34-second mark. Lambert says, “nobody can’t not see and blame something like that…”, referring to the move away from a no-huddle system. Is he implying that some players have used not understanding hand signals for the inept offense for most of the season? Perhaps not but his choice of words is interesting.
