Former Georgia Bulldog quarterback Greyson Lambert has decided to put down the pigskin and pick up his bat and glove, inking a minor-league baseball deal with the Texas Rangers.
Lambert announced on Instagram that he was making his career change by revealing he was in Surprise, Arizona at the Rangers’ spring training facility. The story was first
picked up by Dallasnews.com.
So what position will the former quarterback be playing? He’ll still be throwing a ball as a pitcher of course. The last time Lambert played baseball was in high school as a freshman at Wayne County.
