As Georgia Bulldog fans make the trek to Knoxville, TN for Saturday’s UGA vs. Tennessee game, some for the first time, where should one park their behind to dine, wine, and tailgate?
The Poor Man’s Game Notes blog, aka The PMGN for short, picked the brain of University of Georga Alum and Knoxville native Campbell Wallace and here is what he suggested.
Recommended tailgating spots include The Tennessee River, Circle Park, and Church Street United Methodist.
And if you are looking for some pregame or postgame grub, Balter Beerworks, Cafe 4, Copper Cellar, Emilia, JC Holdway, Litton’s, Stock and Barrel, and Tomato Head are a few suggestions that should not disappoint.
But most importantly is where a Bulldog can wet his or her whistle with some fine adult beverages? Bearden Beer Market, Bistro at the Bijou, Casual Pint, Jig and Reel, Oliver Hotel Bar, and Preservation Pub should do the trick.
