Georgia gymnasts Rachel Dickson, Gigi Marino and Sydney Snead were named NACGC/W All-Americans in recognition of strong performance throughout the regular season.

The regular season All-America teams are determined by rank, with First Team honors going to gymnasts who finished with a top-eight ranking and Second Team recognition going to gymnasts ranked nine through 16.

Dickson, a native of Canton, Michigan, was named to the Second Team for her all-around ranking of No. 13. The freshman began her all-around role in the team’s home meet against Missouri on Jan. 27, making an immediate impact with then-career highs on all four events en route to a 39.525 all-around score. Three weeks later, she recorded a career-best mark of 39.55 at the Mardi Gras Invitational that earned her SEC Gymnast of the Week. Dickson claimed season highs of 9.9 on vault, 9.95 on bars, 9.925 on beam and 9.95 on floor. The All-America nod is the first in her collegiate career.

Marino, a native of Scottsdale, Arizona, finished with a top-10 ranking on floor, checking in at No. 10. The junior claimed five 9.95s throughout the season in the event, including a streak of four-consecutive 9.95s that ended at the SEC Championship. The streak was the first such run for a Gymdog since Courtney Kupets accomplished the feat in 2009. The All-America honor is the first of her collegiate career.

Snead, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, finished the season ranked ninth on vault. The sophomore was named to the All-SEC team along with teammate Lauren Johnson after the duo posted a pair of 9.9s on bars at the SEC Championship, and Snead also recorded a 9.9 on vault in the meet. She posted three 9.95s on vault this season, including back-to-back 9.95s, in marquee meets at Oklahoma and home against Alabama. The All-America honor is the first of her collegiate career.

The Gymdogs return to action on Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m. with its NCAA Regional in Gainesville, Florida.
