The eight-ranked Gymdogs are set to compete in the second session of the SEC Gymnastics Championship on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida. Session II is scheduled to being at 6:00 p.m. that evening after the completion of Session I. Both sessions will be broadcast live on the SEC Network.
Georgia will start the meet on floor, then move to vault, bars and beam, respectively, and will face some stiff competition, as all three opponents are ranked in the top six heading into postseason competition. LSU is ranked No. 2 while Florida is No. 4 and Alabama No. 6. The meet will be the last chance for all teams to improve their RQS marks prior to NCAA regional seeding. The NCAA Selection Show will be streamed live on the NCAA’s website on Monday (March 20) at 4 p.m.
All-time, Georgia leads the SEC with 16 team titles and 101 event championships. The Gymdogs last won the conference championship in 2008 before going on to win their fourth-consecutive NCAA title.

Team-Specific Stream Available Saturday
The 2017 SEC Gymnastics Championship online broadcast will feature a brand new team-specific stream option, announced by the SEC Network on Thursday.
The streams will be available on SEC Network + and will use the apparatus cameras to follow each team. When the option is selected, score-by-score updates will be provided on screen to keep viewers up to date with all four teams’ scores.
Online viewers will also have the option to watch the comprehensive coverage offered on the SEC Network.
