Coming off a Friday night road victory at Auburn, the Georgia Gymdogs begin a string of four consecutive home meets with a Monday afternoon tilt against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
 
Georgia owns a 39-0 all-time mark against NC State, including a 19-0 record inside of Stegeman Coliseum. The meet will be Georgia’s first in the Classic City after opening the year with two conference road meets.
 
“It’s going to be great to keep that energy and that momentum going,” said Georgia gymnastics head coach Danna Durante. “It’s awesome to be able to compete again on Monday. We’re so excited to be able to get in front of our fans and perform for them.”
 
The Gymdogs posted their best meet-to-meet improvement since 1988 after boosting their first meet score by 3.2 points in their win at Auburn. Georgia claimed event titles in three events as well as the all-around title in the conference win, and the team looks to keep its momentum as it begins its home slate.
 
After the meet will be the first G.R.O.W. session of the season, where Vivi Babalis, Ashlyn Broussard, Gigi Marino and Natalie Vaculik will lead an interactive program about trust and the role it plays in their gymnastics and lives outside of the gym. The matchup with NC State is the first of two home meets of this week as Georgia will host Arkansas on Friday at 7 p.m.
