Former Georgia gymnast Brittany Rogers earned a silver medal with Canada in the team final on Monday at the World University Games in the Nangang Exhibition Center.
Rogers competed on vault (14.400), bars (12.900) and beam (13.225) to boost Canada’s final score to 161.100. Russia won the team competition (163.000), while Japan placed third (159.900).
In addition to team competition, Rogers advanced to the individual finals in both vault and beam, where she is seeded sixth and eighth, respectively. Vault finals will be Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. EDT, followed by beam finals Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. EDT.
