Former Georgia gymnast Brittany Rogers added to her medal haul at the World University Games by winning the vault competition with a score of 14.250 on Wednesday at the Nangang Exhibition Center.
Rogers posted a 14.500 on her first vault, followed by 14.000 on the second to combine for her final score. Her first vault was the highest score of the competition. Russia’s Liliia Akhaimova and Maria Paseka placed second and third with scores of 13.983 and 13.916, respectively.
The former Gymdog also competed on beam, where she finished fifth with a score of 13.266. Rogers earned a silver medal with Canada in the team final earlier in the week.
