HISTORY AGAINST THE GATORS

The GymDogs hold a 90-60-1 all-time record against the Gators. Last year Georgia beat Florida in Gainesville for the first time since 2008.  The then-No. 7 GymDogs upset then-No. 3 Florida, 197.450-197.375, handing the Gators their first SEC loss of the season.

BAUMANN SISTERS BATTLE IN GEORGIA- FLORIDA RIVALRY

Sophomore Rachel Baumann is set to face her older sister, Florida junior Alyssa Baumann, in the seasoned Georgia-Florida rivalry.  Last season’s meeting was the first time the sisters competed against each other and the GymDogs came out on top with an upset victory over the Gators, 197.450-197.375. It marked the first time the GymDogs beat Florida in Gainesville since 2008.

This year, the Gators are undefeated and have clinched the SEC regular-season title. Both Baumanns compete vault, beam, and floor.
