Hines Ward is still all Dawg. The two-time Super Bowl winner talked with Rusty Mansell (Fox 5 Atlanta) about his desire to help UGA.
Ward was a teammate of Kirby Smart and Georgia and is impressed with the new top Dawg:
[su_quote style=”modern-light” cite=”” url=””]The tenacity, the passion he has for coaching. You know, you mess up he is right there in your face but if you make a great play is the first guy will just bump you, jump all on you, maybe even kiss you on the cheek. That’s the passion that I knew about Kirby. So, to see someone of your own come back to your alma mater, man, it got me fired up.

Ward says that he thinks he has a lot to offer as a coach on the college level and he wants to give back to his University.
Hines thinks he would be a good recruiter because prospects dads know him from the Steelers and mom know him from Dancing with the Stars.
Be sure to check out his thought on allowing recruits like Deshaun Watson get away from the home state University.
