Welcome to the Bulldawg Illustrated Hoops Report: Georgia vs. LSU. It’s like listening to a one-man band. And that’s exactly what J.J. Frazier is.
 
 
After putting up 36 in a losing effort versus Kentucky on Saturday, he scored 28 of the Dawgs 60 in a road win versus Alabama on Thursday night. And that’s what he’s averaging in his last four games. Throw in that he’s been double and triple teamed in the last 78 mins and it’s truly amazing. Not since Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has a player been able to single-handedly dominate a game. No one else on the team scored in double-digits versus the Tide.
 
 
The Dawgs also continue to be one of the toughest road teams in the SEC. While their record is only 4-4, it includes two overtime losses to UK and UF as well as a one and two point loss to A&M and South Cackalack, respectively. However, the Dawgs may still need to pull out more on the road, just FYI. We’ll talk about that later. Up next is LSU. Let’s talk about that.
 
 
LSU isn’t good. They’re 1-14 in the SEC. Not a lot to say, except win. That keeps our slim at-large bid alive. If we lose, we have no right to be considered for the tournament. Enough said.
 
 
OK, at the beginning of the year I predicted the Dawgs would go 11-7 or 10-8. I also thought either record would get us in if we beat Texas. Believe it or not, we still have a chance at 10-8. We’ve got to win out. That won’t be easy but neither was taking UK to the wire nor beating Bama on the road without Yante.
 
 
It’s still three one-game seasons and we need to go undefeated in each season. Vegas odds show us with a 22% chance of making the tournament. That’s actually one point ahead of where we were before the UK game. So contrary to what everyone says, the ship hasn’t sailed yet; though, Captain Stubing is calling All-Aboard at the moment. So let’s all cruise on over to the Stegasaurus Saturday night and pull the Dawgs through. Just think of it as a band party and J.J. will be cranking it up. Go Dawgs!
