The Harrison Hoyas have faced back-to-back top-10 teams in their last two games that include the No. 1 ranked team in Class 5A, Rome, and the No. 7 ranked team in Class 7A, North Cobb, in the state of Georgia. Even though the Hoyas lost both contests, senior quarterback Justin Fields has still put on a show to fill the highlight reels.

 
Last week, Fields and Harrison traveled to Rome, GA to take on Rome High School and a very talented Wolves’ defense that included one of the top ranked OLB’s in the 2018 class, Adam Anderson. Although Anderson sacked Fields 3 times and forced a fumble along with his defensive teammates also forcing an interception, the No. 1 QB in the class of 2018 still was able to move the Hoyas down the field and put up points on the scoreboard. Fields finished with 21-of-30 passing for 381 yards, 3 TDs (2 passing & 1 rushing), 1 INT, and 1 fumble in the Hoyas’ 33-21 loss to Rome.
 
 

 
 
Justin Fields and the Hoyas went back on the road Friday night, this time to North Cobb High School. The night was marked by some stormy weather, but both Harrison and North Cobb put on a show of their own, complete with some lightning and thunder. It was one of those games where you hate to see a team lose as North edged the Hoyas 45-42. Fields again was spectacular in a loss, though, passing for 4 touchdowns and scoring a 72-yards rushing TD to boot.
 
 

 
 
Fields has thrown for 15 touchdowns in Harrison High School’s three games so far this year. With the loss, the Hoyas move to (1-2) on the season. Next week, Fields and Harrison High get a weekend off before hosting Class 6A, Region 6, River Ridge High School on Friday, September 15th.
