Kendall Baker talked to the media on Thursday for the first time this camp. The senior offensive guard mentioned that the team has one goal in mind and nothing else. To achieve that goal they must compete and practice against one of the best defensive lines in the country.
Baker mentions that neither line ever gives up in practice. He agreed with the statement of ‘iron sharpens iron’ that Julian Rochester made earlier this week.
“We go against some great guys every day,” Baker states. “All of those guys are very of good and practicing against them every one is just going to make us better because they coming off hard we coming off hard. You’re going to mess up every once in a while, but as you go and get along and get your feet up under and they get their feet up under them. We’re just doing the bets reps that we can.”
If each side of the ball feels this way, the Bulldogs should have two of the best lines in the country. Players seem to love the amount of competition that comes with practices. Good thing head coach Kirby Smart is all about competing against each other to make them better. Georgia seems to be right on track this season as we continue getting closer to kickoff.
