Kevin Butler’s Players of the Week

Offensive Player

Nate Frazier, Jr. – When we hear that we have signed a top-notch running back, we often wonder how good they are. We are witnessing the development of Nate Frazier as a workhorse running back to breathe life back into Tailback University. His performance Saturday was indicative of a running back, becoming comfortable being the go-to player. No moments too big for Nate! 21 carries for 136 yards and three touchdowns. We need more Nate! Defensive Player

Warren Brinson – The senior from Savannah, Georgia, my hometown, made the Bulldog Nation very proud of his performance Saturday. In the part of the season where the guys in the trenches make the biggest difference Brinson’s performance Saturday with five solo tackles, a sack and a tackle for a loss showed how dominant he can be going down the stretch. His performance upfront enables our linebackers to understand the opportunity at hand, and that opportunity is to attack the controlled violence and knock their ass out of the game. Beat Tech!

Special team Player

Peyton Woodring – As Larry Munson would say the sophomore sensation keeps getting better and better each game. In an early pivotal scoring opportunity, Woodring hit a 53-yarder into winds and produced yet another great opportunity with points. Peyton continues to be consistent in a league where kickers and their points are very valuable. Friday night will be no different and every point will be needed from Peyton, and he is certainly ready for the challenge. Beat Tech!

Unsung Hero of the Game

Bulldog Nation, the Legacy – Families, children, legacy, excitement, joy, and a downright great day in November in Athens, Georgia watching our Dawgs represent the University. It was an exciting day for the University of Georgia and the tremendous number of supporters that may not usually get to a Georgia football game. Saturday was their day, and they took full advantage of it. It was an unbelievable experience at the University of Georgia watching the Bulldogs jump to their ninth victory of the year. Georgia has a great foundation built on family, friends and tradition, and this year has been yet another great year in University of Georgia history. Thank you fans for your support. Beat Tech!
