While biding his time as defensive coordinator at Alabama, Kirby Smart must have been thinking through some innovative recruiting techniques that he would try when the right head-coaching opportunity finally came. Georgia’s Freshman Weekend, beginning tomorrow is a great example.
 
 
Fifty class of 2019 football recruiting prospects will the entertained and enlightened by Georgia’s recruiting infrastructure at an event that is first of its kind nationally. You can bet that Georgia’s competitors will be chasing Kirby’s idea in short order.
