Georgia junior Lee McCoy has been named to the watch list for the Ben Hogan Award, which is presented annually to the top golfer based on all collegiate and amateur competitions during the past 12-month period.
[su_spacer size=”40″] McCoy leads the SEC with a 69.6 scoring average. He has finished first, second, fourth, fifth and 11th in the five tournaments in which he has participated this year. McCoy claimed medalist honors in the Dick’s Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup. He was chosen as the SEC Golfer of the Week after his fourth-place showing in the Puerto Rico Classic.
